I think the general idea is good, but the cellular arrangement as well as how these things torque in space is really problematic. i think you are still developing this -- is that correct? the plane from which these units emerge seems to be a simple geometrical fan. nothing wrong with that, but nothing really interesting either. it is like a regular apt block shifted. Can't you do more with the plane? And what about circulation?
I'm also thinking of Serra's torqued elipses. but in either case, i think some diagramming of what this planes are supposed to do will help as well as giving us an understanding of how the cells relate to it
